Christine is originally from Iowa where her mother ran the Meals on Wheels program in their community. She has a degree in Journalism from the University of Iowa and has been in the media business for 30 years. Currently she is Advertising Sales Director with Prairie Mountain Media which owns The Daily Camera, Longmont Times Call, Colorado Hometown Weekly and Broomfield Enterprise. Christine and her husband have lived in Superior for 23 years. They have two daughters and two black labs.
Marc became involved in Meals on Wheels in 2017. Marc is a small business owner in Louisville where his State Farm Agency services the needs of the community. Marc spent 22 years in the Air Force Reserve retiring from his last duty assignment at the Pentagon in 2014. Additionally Marc spent many years in the Healthcare distribution business leading cross-functional teams at all levels within an organization before opening his agency in Louisville. Marc was born in Sacramento, CA and has called Colorado home since 2000. Marc’s educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and he has completed the MBA program at Colorado State University. Marc enjoys serving the community and giving back to others is his passion.
Kelsey van de Liefvoort is originally from the rural community of Burlington, CO, and currently resides in Louisville. She earned her Masters of Accounting and Information Systems from the University of
Kansas in 2005, and became a CPA shortly after. Kelsey now works as Financial Reporting Manager for TVH Parts Co., an international company in the material handling industry. In addition to her background in
accounting, Kelsey brings to CCMOW her passion for enhancing the community, with varied experience in farming, caregiving, church ministries, and fine art.
Ken joined the board of directors in the spring of 2013 after becoming involved with CCMOW as a volunteer driver in 2012. He is passionately dedicated to our mission, and together with his wife Sue, they support CCMOW by delivering meals and helping out in other ways to expand our reach in the community. He is also a member of the board’s development committee. Ken hails from Sandusky, OH, but has called Colorado his home since 1975.
Maureen (Mo) Kanwischer is the founder and president of Momentum Business Consulting. She is considered a small business expert and outstanding teacher. She has a practical and energetic demeanor and it is evident in her many workshops, seminars, and consulting engagements. As a consultant, Mo most often works as a partner with business owners and presidents and focuses on strategic planning, marketing, and business development. Mo has helped over 300 small businesses owners grow their business. Mo and her husband, Scott, live in Superior, Colorado.

John first became involved in Meals on Wheels as a driver in 2014 and joined the Board in November 2015. He has a strong passion for serving the community through ensuring that healthy, nutritious meals are available to everyone regardless of background or income, and hopes to expand the services of Coal Creel Meals on Wheels to reach more of our community in need. John is a native of Colorado, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University in 1990 and a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1995. He is the founder and Principal of Iris Technologies, a Forensic Engineering Consulting Firm located in Erie, Colorado.
