Originally from Wyoming, Lark lived on the East Coast and West Coast before returning to the Mountain West. Lark has more than 20 years of experience working with nonprofit and governmental organizations developing afterschool programs; orchestrating large-scale community service projects; managing a public awareness campaign; and developing robust communications, marketing, and fundraising programs.

Lark earned her B.A. in Liberal Arts from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, and a M.S.Ed from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.
