Marc Sisler, President

Marc became involved in Meals on Wheels in 2017. Marc is a small business owner in Louisville where his State Farm Agency services the needs of the community. Marc spent 22 years in the Air Force Reserve retiring from his last duty assignment at the Pentagon in 2014. Additionally, Marc spent many years in the Healthcare distribution business leading cross-functional teams at all levels within an organization before opening his agency in Louisville. Marc was born in Sacramento, CA and has called Colorado home since 2000. Marc’s educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, and he has completed the MBA program at Colorado State University. Marc enjoys serving the community and giving back to others is his passion.

Ken Zimmerman, Secretary

Ken first became involved with CCMOW as a volunteer driver in September 2012. He is excited to rejoin the board after having served on it in various capacities from 2013 – 2018. Since retiring from a federal civil service career where he specialized in the administration of large health-care contracts in the Department of Defense, Ken is eager to devote his free time to the work of CCMOW and expanding its outreach. Ken and his wife Sue enjoy supporting CCMOW by delivering meals and helping out in other ways. They have three children, six grandchildren, one great-grandson and Sunny, their miniature Shelty (an adopted COVID rescue). Ken is an avid vocal musician who sings with the Colorado Symphony Chorus (in Denver), is active in church work and enjoys gardening. Ken and Sue are transplants from the mid-west, but are proud to now call Erie their home.

 
Steve Kinz, Treasurer

Steve is a recently retired business executive from Emerson Automation Solutions. He is originally
from the east coast but has been living in Louisville, CO with his wife Debbie since 1990. During his
career, he served in several international and domestic executive leadership positions. These involved
operations management and strategic planning focused primarily on sales and marketing. He earned
a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Management from Clarkson University in New York. Here
in his local community he has been involved in The Boy Scouts of America, youth coaching, and serving
in his church. He joined the Meals on Wheels board in 2019.

Rochelle Asmussen, Board Member

Rochelle become involved with Meals on Wheels in 2015 as a weekly delivery driver as well as an ambassador at local festivals & events. She also participates in the “friendly caller” program that was created to help stay in touch with clients during the Covid pandemic. Rochelle & her husband John own a residential real estate business in the Boulder/Broomfield, Denver metro area and have been working together for the last 25 years. Rochelle grew up in the Lafayette area. She & John raised their 2 daughters here and are almost “empty nesters”.

Lane Rideout, Board Member

Lane is an attorney with a solo law practice based in Louisville. She focuses on employment, small business, and real estate matters through Rideout Legal PLLC. Lane lives with her daughter and husband in Louisville, having recently moved from Superior. She is also the Treasurer of the Monarch PK8 PTO and enjoys skiing and spending time with friends and family. Lane grew up in Texas and earned her juris doctorate at The University of Texas at Austin School of Law. She holds law licenses in Colorado, Texas and Massachusetts. Lane and her family have been in Colorado since 2012.

Don Morris, Board Member

Don retired from a career at IBM working in HR and management positions in a variety of technical consulting practices. Early in his career Don moved to MN, NY and MD before settling in CO with his wife Alicia in 1992.  They have two adult children.  Don attended Iowa State University where he graduated with a BA and MS.  Don has been active in church and fraternal organizations.  In addition to being involved in his community, he enjoys hiking, reading and cooking. Don joined the Coal Creek Meals on Wheels board in 2021. 

Karen Barela, Board Member
Karen moved from Anaheim, California to Boulder Colorado in 1989 and has never looked back. She worked in the Craft Beer industry before joining Culinary School of the Rockies, where she was the C.O.O.  Upon helping to sell that business, her Mom became ill and then passed away. Karen, along with her siblings, helped care for their Dad, eventually moving him into an assisted living community. That experience prompted her to open GingerSugar, a professional organizing business specializing in Seniors and Senior Move Management.  She continues to live in Boulder with Pickles the dog, Annie the cat, and her husband Doug. They love to camp, dirt-bike ride and drink craft beer. Karen joined the board of MOW in the fall of 2021.
Rachel Meyer, Board Member
Rachel is a global account manager with Vodafone and has been in sales and business development for the last 25 years. Originally from northern Virginia, she moved to Boulder in 2018 from San Francisco. Throughout her career she held positions in Prague, Singapore, and Sydney, rolling out new markets and developing teams.  Rachel has a business degree from NLU.  She is passionate about helping those in need, especially seniors.  Rachel enjoys spending time with her dog Andy, family and friends. She's an avid cyclist and enjoys skiing, skate skiing and spending time in the Colorado outdoors. Rachel joined the Coal Creek Meals on Wheels board in 2022. 
Chris O'Neill, Board Member

Chris is a financial advisor with Raymond James in Boulder and has been servicing his clients for over 20 years. Chris works closely with his clients to meet their financial goals and assists them with charitable planning and giving. He has been active in the community in Boulder county since 2005, most recently serving on the board of Resource Central, an innovative nonprofit dedicated to helping people save water, reduce waste, and conserve energy.  He has a degree from the University of Vermont, where he studied environmental studies and economics. Chris lives in Louisville and enjoys spending time with his 2 children, snowboarding and traveling. Chris r joined the board of CCOW in 2022.
