COVID-19 Precautions & Support Needed

As you are probably aware, things have escalated quickly in terms of COVID-19 precautionary measures. Schools and city facilities have closed, and activities and events have been cancelled to encourage social distancing. Similarly, CCMOW is changing our operations to ensure the safety and health of our clients, staff, and volunteers.

Please read the letter below to learn about the precautions CCMOW is taking, and the operational changes we are instituting. Our congregate dining program in closed through April 6th, and cleints are invited to sign-up for delivery meals instead. We are also moving to cooler deliveries, rather than face-to-face deliveries. See the letter below for additional details.

We are accepting new clients. Please encourage families that rely on school lunches, and those who are unable to work due to closures to apply for meal delivery. We use a sliding scale to determine meals costs - from $0-$7 per meal, based on reported income.

In order to continue to provide daily meals for the homebound community, we need your help!

Ensure that we have the resources to continue to continue to provide services to our vulnerable clientele.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! We have enough volunteers right now, and we have a waitlist of folks interested in delivering in case there is a need. If new volunteer opportunities arise we will include a link to sign up here.
