March for Meals is a national celebration of an advocacy movement for Meals on Wheels organizations – and we’re celebrating in several ways:
City of Lafayette, City of Louisville, Town of Erie and Town of Superior have proclaimed March 2025 the 23rd annual March for Meals Month. We are so grateful to have this support from every corner of our service area.

On March 7, we hosted a free day in the Coal Creek Cafe to celebrate surpassing 1 million meals served since CCMOW was founded in 1972! Our kitchen prepared ham and scalloped potatoes -- a callback to the first meal ever served by our organization. It is because of supporters like you that we’ve reached this milestone, and it will be because of you that we are able to serve our next 1 million meals!

Through our partnerships with Stem Ciders and Taboche Winery, we have even more opportunities for you to support Coal Creek Meals on Wheels this month and beyond.
At all three Stem locations, you can purchase a Meals on Wheels Flight anytime in March, with $1 of each flight purchase being donated to CCMOW. Stop by Acreage on March 17 and Stem Ciders RiNo on March 19 for a Keep the Glass event - $1 per glass purchase will be donated to CCMOW!
Taboche Winery will be selling a special Granache Rose to fundraise for Coal Creek Meals on Wheels! Starting on March 31, get your Friendly Knock while supplies last!
Finally, March for Meals will culminate in our annual fundraiser event on March 31! Please join us at Meals on Heels: a Shoe Fashion Show! Enjoy live music from Ultralowfi and creative shoe fashion at Acreage by Stem Ciders. Bid on unique and local prize packages in our silent auction and show off your funkiest footwear to benefit CCMOW!
Like to bring people together? Raise awareness about our programs by inviting your friends to join you at the Coal Creek Café and at Meals on Heels!
Can’t make it for any of these events? You can still support Coal Creek Meals on Wheels this month by bidding on silent auction items online (coming soon!) or making a donation anytime throughout the month, here.
