We're Expanding: Now Serving the Carbon Valley

We're so grateful to share some exciting news: beginning in August 2026, we'll be bringing home-delivered meals to neighbors in Frederick, Firestone, and Dacono, thanks to a two-year partnership with The Weld Trust.
There's a real need for reliable, nutritious meals in Carbon Valley, and being able to help fill that gap means a lot to us. We plan to launch three new delivery routes and serve approximately 110 new participants, increasing our organization's reach by more than 20% by the end of the two-year pilot.
"Our mission has always been about more than meals—it's about delivering nourishment, connection, and support that strengthen our neighbors, families, and communities," said Nate Broeckert, our CEO. "Now we get to bring that to even more people who need it: more neighbors, more nourishment, more connection.
"A huge thank you to The Weld Trust for making this expansion possible. Let's get to work!"
How It Will Work
Each weekday, our delivery van will carry hot, home-cooked meals from our kitchen in Lafayette to the Rocky Mountain Christian Church, where volunteer drivers will pick up their routes and deliver daily meals right to their new neighbors' doors, along with monthly pet food deliveries.
We're also so happy to welcome Sarah Parker as our new Carbon Valley Program Manager. She'll be visiting with each new participant in their home, taking the time to learn about their needs beyond nutrition, and connecting them with local resources and support along the way.

More Than a Meal
At its heart, this expansion will be an extension of what we've always tried to do: nourish our neighbors through food and connection. Every delivery will be a chance to bring someone a nutritious meal, a friendly face, and the comfort of knowing someone cares.
As we grow, we want to hold on to everything that makes this work meaningful. It won't be about becoming something different, it will be about making sure more neighbors get to feel that same warmth, dignity, and connection we've always tried to offer. That's something we're not willing to lose sight of.
A Fresh Look, the Same Heart
As our community has grown, we've been so grateful to grow alongside you, and you may have noticed our look has grown a little, too. To better reflect the neighbors and supporters who make this work possible every day, we felt it was time for our logo to evolve.
The new design still holds the same heart that has guided us from the beginning. Green represents the fresh, nourishing meals our volunteers deliver, and the hands represent what we've always been about: neighbors helping neighbors, support that shows up at every doorstep, and a connection that goes far beyond a meal.
